The Melbourne Lawyers’ Orchestra (or “Lawchestra”) was founded in September 2013 to provide lawyers, barristers, law students and other legal professionals in Melbourne with the opportunity to engage with the creative arts and music, foster new relationships and promote work-life balance. Each year we present two main symphony concerts and “In Chambers” - an additional opportunity for our members to collaborate in small groups and explore more challenging repertoire.

To register your interest to join the MLO, please fill out the form. We will contact you before the start of each season to notify you of term dates so that you can join us when it suits you.
We currently run 2 seasons per year. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at 7pm - 9pm at St Peters' Eastern Hill (15 Gisborne Street, East Melbourne).
