Join Habeas Chorus, the choir for Melbourne’s legal profession, as we ring in this year’s festive season! This December, Collins Street Baptist Church will play host to a wonderful selection of traditional carols, foot-tapping gospel arrangements, and other works celebrating the spirit of Christmas around the globe. Be sure to bring your singing voice as we come together with fine musicians from the Melbourne Lawyers' Orchestra for several well-known favourites, and then stay and enjoy afternoon tea with us. 

Habeas Chorus is open to all members of Melbourne's legal community including practitioners, support staff and students. Habeas Chorus performs a wide range of repertoire from the classics of the choral canon through to contemporary popular music, including music by Australian artists and composers. Each term focuses on a different musical theme and repertoire.
