BottledSnail Productions is proud to present Fermentation, a writers' lab which fosters the development of new and original works.
In 2015 Fermentation ran an extremely successful short script development program. Eight writers from the legal industry produced scripts under the direction of acclaimed playwright Robert Reid and a public reading showcasing the completed works was held at Bella Union.
In 2016 Fermenation hosted workshops for the development of full length scripts. Our 2016 writers, Edward Kus, Peter Francis and Yuliya Mik each produced thought-provoking original works under the direction of Sharon Lacy and with feedback from Literary Director of the Melbourne Theatre Company, Chris Mead. A public reading of the three plays was held at the Alex Theatre in December.
